I’m Ali, and this little corner of the internet is built around a big belief: a small dog shouldn’t mean a small life. My maltipoo, Oliver, has been my travel buddy through airports, road trips, hotel check-ins, and more "where do we put the dog?" moments than I can count — and every one of them taught us something worth sharing.
Why I started this blog
When I first started traveling with Oliver, I wasted money on carriers that didn’t fit, gear that didn’t last, and advice that clearly wasn’t written by anyone with an actual small dog. Teacup Trekker is the resource I wish I’d had: honest, practical guidance from someone who’s tested it all with a real (and very opinionated) little dog.
Meet Oliver
Oliver is a maltipoo with the heart of an explorer and the attitude of a much larger dog. He’s our official gear tester, comfort inspector, and chief adventure officer. If a carrier passes the Oliver test, it’s earned its place in your travel bag.
